Family Visit Visa in Saudi Arabia
A Family Visit Visa is a service that allows a resident inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to apply for a visit request for first-degree relatives only, such as: wife, children, father, and mother.
Previously, applications were allowed up to the third degree of kinship (brother, sister, uncle, aunt, cousins, etc.), but the rules have been updated, and the visit is now limited to first-degree relatives only.
Regarding the visit duration mentioned on the visa document
Sometimes the duration appears as “Not Specified” on the visa. This is normal, as the actual duration is determined when the traveler enters the Kingdom.
Required Documents to Process a Family Visit Visa at the Saudi Consulate
- Original visa document.
- Copy of the residency permit (Iqama) of the inviter inside Saudi Arabia.
- Enjaz application form after paying the fees.
- Original passport.
- Personal photo with a white background.
- Appointment booking through Tasheer website.
- Biometrics fee (normal or premium service).
- Original proof of relationship, certified by the Civil Affairs Authority and the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Difference Between Normal Service and Premium Service
1. Fees
- Normal service: Around 800 EGP.
- Premium service: Between 2200–2400 EGP.
2. Appointment Timing
- Premium service: You can attend at any time during the day.
- Normal service: You must arrive exactly at the scheduled time.
3. Document Completion
- In the normal service, any missing documents may result in the appointment being canceled or shifted to the premium service.
- In the premium service, documents are received even if there are minor issues, and corrections can be made.

- $10.5 – medical insurance service
- $81 – visa fee
Medical insurance fees vary depending on the traveler’s age and the selected insurance company.
