Chief Accountant

A leading Scaffolding, Contracting, and Equipment Rental company in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee all accounting and financial operations in accordance with Saudi regulations and financial standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, taxation and Zakat compliance, payroll administration, inventory control, petty cash management, customer accounts, financial planning, cash flow monitoring, and supporting management with strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounting cycle.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Supervise accounts receivable and payable.
Manage advances, petty cash, and reconciliations.
Control inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
Prepare VAT and Zakat filings.
Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations.
Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
Analyze costs and financial performance.
Manage payroll processing according to Saudi labor regulations.
Prepare management reports and KPIs.
Supervise month-end and year-end closing.
Coordinate with auditors and financial institutions.
Lead and develop the accounting team.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 10 years of experience as Chief Accountant.
Mandatory experience in Scaffolding companies in Saudi Arabia.
Strong experience in Contracting or Equipment Rental sectors is also acceptable.
Proven experience in Saudi Zakat and Tax regulations.
Experience in Saudi payroll processing.
Strong inventory accounting and stock control experience.
Experience in customer accounts, supplier accounts, and petty cash management.
Experience in group accounting and bank reconciliations.
Strong financial planning and cash flow management skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong leadership and reporting capabilities.
Arabic and English proficiency.
