Purchasing Manager – Food Manufacturing BU

A leading food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead sourcing and procurement activities for raw materials and packaging across the Foods Manufacturing Business Unit. The role supports pastry and meat production plants and manages approximately 556 direct material SKUs.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead procurement and sourcing of raw and packaging materials
Manage RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contracting activities
Oversee centralized packaging contracts
Perform price comparisons and cost-saving initiatives
Ensure availability of materials aligned with production plans
Collaborate with Planning, Production, Finance, R&D, QA, and Projects teams
Monitor supplier performance and compliance
Manage inventory levels and safety stock
Control procurement budget and analyze purchasing data
Prepare procurement reports and drive continuous improvement

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or related field
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing
Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG is highly preferred
Strong expertise in raw and packaging material sourcing
Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
Experience in inventory and cost control
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Excellent communication and coordination abilities
Fluency in English is preferred
