HV Transmission & Power Projects Manager

A leading contracting company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced HV Transmission Manager / Transmission Project Manager to lead and manage high-voltage power transmission projects from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall execution, management, coordination, planning, cost control, construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover of HV transmission projects.

The role requires strong hands-on project execution experience in Saudi Arabia, preferably with direct experience in Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects.

The candidate should have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and stakeholders, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, schedules, and approved budgets.

Experience covering HV Transmission Overhead Lines (OHTL), HV Underground Cables, and HV Substations is highly desirable, particularly at voltage levels of 132kV, 220kV, 380kV, and 500kV, or equivalent.

The candidate will be expected to manage projects through the complete project lifecycle, from mobilization and engineering/procurement coordination through construction, installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and final handover.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in HV electrical power transmission projects.
Proven hands-on experience in execution and management of HV transmission projects, not consultancy or supervision-only experience.
Solid experience working in Saudi Arabia.
Direct experience with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects is highly preferred.
SEC Approval / SEC Recommendation Letter is considered a strong advantage.
Proven ability to manage projects from Start to Finish, including construction, installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and final handover.
Strong experience in HV Transmission Lines – OHTL.
Experience in HV Underground Cables.
Experience in HV Substations.
Strong knowledge of construction and installation activities.
Strong experience in Testing & Commissioning.
Experience in procurement, material coordination, and supplier/subcontractor management.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control.
Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors, engineers, technicians, and site teams.
Strong coordination experience with SEC, consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Experience with voltage levels such as 132kV, 220kV, 380kV, and 500kV, or equivalent.
Strong project management and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously and deliver projects according to approved schedules and budgets.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and negotiation skills.
Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in large-scale project environments.
Willingness to work at project sites in different locations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
