Description
A leading construction company in Riyadh is seeking a highly experienced Procurement Engineer to manage and oversee all procurement activities related to construction projects. The role includes supplier evaluation, material sourcing, contract negotiation, cost control, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in compliance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules.
The Procurement Engineer will work closely with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, and finance departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations and optimal procurement strategies that support project success.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer in construction companies
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting procurement
Proven experience in supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and contract negotiation
Familiarity with local and international suppliers
Experience working with ERP and procurement systems
Strong understanding of project schedules, BOQs, and technical specifications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
